Our department accepted 40 students in the 2020-2021 academic year.

Sociology graduates can be employed in the institutions such as the Ministry of Family and Social Policies, Ministry of Development, Turkish Statistical Institute, Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Agriculture, Municipalities, educational institutions, media consultancy and journalism, research and development organizations and human resources.

Preference is given to our department from EA score type and there is no evening education. In addition to our courses, the curriculum of the department also includes compulsory or elective courses from different disciplines such as Philosophy, Psychology, Logic, Statistics, Economics, Law and so on. With the double major program, our students have the opportunity to obtain a second diploma from any of the other departments within our faculty.

Our undergraduate students will have the opportunity to continue their education in another university within the country or in another country with which an agreement has been reached, within the scope of Erasmus, Mevlana, Farabi student exchange programs.

Our students will increase their level of speaking and understanding English thanks to the compulsory academic English courses they will take during their undergraduate period.
