Samsun Sociology Department stands out with its dynamic and devoted academic staff and friendly organizational climate.

In our department, there are six faculty members: Head of Department Prof. Kenan Çağan, Deputy Head of Department Asst. Prof. Özgür Kıran, Asst. Prof. Yaşar Yeşilyurt and Asst. Prof. Adem İnce, Res. Samsun Sociology, together with a new and dynamic academic staff, aims to provide a contemporary Sociology education that combines theory and practice in the field of Sociology and conforms to global Sociology trends. It has created its curriculum in this direction and planned teaching methods and student activities in accordance with the same purpose. We are ready for the 2021-2020 academic year.

Samsun Sociology, which is formed with a new voice and new excitement in the biggest and most student-friendly city of the Black Sea, aims to provide an ambitious Sociology education to its students.
